Logistics Network Embargo
I just finished this one (along with Raining Bullets) and I have to say it's made me think that a lot of what I'd used logistics bots before in the past was just a crutch for poor base design.

On the other hand, I did have a lot of duplcation. Every train had their own oil bareller, AP ammo assembler, and repair pack assembler and there were a few items I had to move around by hand (engines, electric engines, stone bricks for electric furnaces, modules higher than level 1).

So I think logistics bots are still good but everyone should do this achievement. It will make you a better player!

I kind of cheated when I got this acheivememt. I still used passive provider chest to supply my character. I know the acheivememt states that you can't use active providers or requesters. But using passive chests felt like cheating.

I just got it was well. ya felt like cheating using the Passive chests.

I definitely agree that using logistics robots made me build up things willy-nilly. However, there was always that idea that it's only to get the production going, once that is working and I'm getting something to get the next thing on the list, then I'll re-work it. Or even build a second duplicated production line better production queues.

Of course, that may not happen often since after getting that "thing" I needed, then I am usually off to get another "thing' for another product.

i did this one in the same game as personally making under 111 items. (lazy bastard) found it a easy mix. was a MUCH longer start, but as soon as you get to blue reserch its easy.

I finished this one also just recently, combined with Raining bullets and Steam all the way (no solar power). It ran very good in my opinion. I had to rebuild a few times some sections and it takes a lot of planning, belts and a fair bit of running around :steamhappy: but in the end, it was a wonderfull experience! I'm now setting up solar production in the same game and laser turret production so i can massively expand the base and try out some new idea's before 0.15 will be out. But a very interesting achievement that learns you to rethink a lot of easy solutions when you have robots.
