Is anyone else finding late game that coal is stock piling up, because it has become useless?

use crushed coal with carbon dioxide to make carbon if using angel mods needs coal processing tech

If you are playing 0.15, it is used in the black science pack. You can also research coal liquifaction to turn excess coal into petrol products which are usually in demand.

0.15 has coal liquefaction, which lets you use coal instead of oil in refineries.

i can honestlly say ive never had this issue, there are always more trees that need clearing and the best way to do that is with coal. ie grenades.

How is it useless when there are always more red circuits to be made?

I have a quarter of a million coal stored.

Freek I am producing 2Mil red circuits a min.
Gmc i am stuffed to the gills with oil, so liquefaction is useless.
Twelve why use grenades on trees when u can nuke them? Once you do u will be like whats a grendade?
Dusk, my infinity research is up to 64000 research paks per, and i still have so much coal i am just paving over it and not mining it...

So that = useless.

So by that reasoning, is oil also useless because you are stuffed to the gills with it?

You could collect up enough of any resource so you have more than you would ever use but that doesn't make them useless.

John i like how you used only part of the conversation to make your point.

As I described All other resources are utelized without an over abundance, unlike coal which is.
And if you could stay on the original topic that would be great, if you are not late stage game and your not having an abundance of coal good for you, but i was asking opinions from others in situations like myself. Hence the OP. ty for you input

Sounds like you have the solution to the coal ... pave over it, like every other resource you dont need in that area of construction ...

like Johntarmac said.... coal isnt useless, if you think that, becourse of oversupply of coal... then all resources is useless... like i have 2 million or so units of copper laying around waiting to be used.... so i have stopped mine copper ore... like i do with all ores.... if i have enough i simply turn of miners, and dont build more until my demand is higher.

at that volume you need 2 million coal a minute. doesn't seem that useless to me, but i certainly havent achieved elite status.
1 coal -> 2 plastic -> 1 red circuit, so 1:1 ratio.
unless you are using a mod changing the recipe, then perhaps you are complaining unjustly.
