Way to reduce Input lag for driving?
Is there a way to increase driving sensitivity or just increasing turning sensitivity in general for cars because im experiencing major input lag and its causing me to run into lots of things unnecessarily.

Are you a client on a multiplayer server?

prob online. find friends/servers that live in your area. driving a car from half way round the globe does not work well at all.

The answer would have to be "put rails and drive a train" I think, the automatic driving for trains doesn't care about latency.

The major cons with that plan is that you need to put down the rails, so it's not as great for regular exploration, but when you just need to go from A to B, trains are a good options.

I experience this both in offline and online. With online i understand that there is lag but I had thought that the input lag was a game setting when it came to single player. I love using trains but i need to utilize the car first to travel but at this point i might as well skip over the car.

If you are finding input lag with cars in single player, then you are experiencing a weird thing, are you sure it's not misunderstanding how the vehicles work?

I am not saying you are stupid or anything like that, it's just that the vehicles handle quite a bit differently from many other games, so it can seem odd at first when you are not used to it.

No i understand how the vehicle works and i understand if you go forward and turn you end up having a large arc vs. just turning but my problem is that when I turn it takes a bit to register and then does a 70 degree turn before moving. When im moving forward it lags and then jump starts and i find myself running into a tree because my turns dont register quick enough.

55-60fps. My specs are model: Alienware 14 (2013 series), windows 10, GeForce 750m, i7 intel core processor, 8gb ram. So you can imagine why i would be confused about any sort of "lag" in single player. Multiplayer i understand because trying to connect 2 toasters in the South is really wonky to begin with.

do you have any other apps running in the backgound?

If you can, try to record a video clip of this (nvidia shadow play should do the trick I would think, if your card supports it), maybe you just found a weird bug and this could help the devs in fixing it.
