1) It's very resource intensive, meaning you are likely duplicating parts of your game's rendering into data across the internet for someone to see it as a video feed.
2) Can be laggy and the timing of the video sync is never correct, that person would see massive delays in controls and such, making real time action gameplay not possible, only plausable in a turn based game.
Nintendo Gameboy Advance and DS games had this function a long time ago, where the owner of one game cartridge, can connect via wires or wireless, to other game systems to 'share' the game data to them.
But in essence that's simply 'downloading' and uploading a exact copy of your game to them lol!
Also these games are extremely limited and simple due to the data constraint.
Btw, is gamepad support planning? Or mouse only controls (as in some RPGs)? Or it is not possible? I just cant play long with keyboard+mouse because of my health condition.
That said, the Steam controller might be worth a try, since it's basically two touchpads placed together. Not as precise as a mouse, but miles better than analag control. You'd still need to input the values with the keyboard though, for circuits etc...
A solution to what? Lack of splitscreen? You can run as many instances as you want, just use one of those softwares that basically make a "second PC" on the same machine, get a second screen, kb/m and you should be good.
Maybe it is notb a good idea, i just installed it, but can mouse only with click to walk and bunch of icons work?
No, "local multiplayer" means same machine which is why when you use "localhost" as an IP with direct connect it connects to the server if it's hosted on a dedicated server on the same machine. LAN play means LAN play, although i don't think Steam has a category for that.
That's pretty deceptive then, granted the game is amazing but i personally reccomend removing it from that category if it doesn't support local multiplayer.
