Ingame Music - what is this

I love Factorio, amazing game, but what in the world is wrong with the ingame music?

I'm not saying it's bad or anything. But it's just straight... creepy.
What is this, a factory building game or a meta horror game?

LOL. I find the music quite relaxing. Factorio has a bit of a desolate atmosphere, and the music fits that quite well.

Yaa, cant concentrate myself, when this spooky music is on. So i play mostly without music, sometime i use media player classics and play some industrial rock.

nah. they don't want to chew your face. they want peace and absence of polution.

I recently ran into a game where it was not possible to adjust/turn off in-game music.
Terrible design choice!

I gotta agree with the OP. It's not very catchy. I turn most games music down to blast my own, or to watch a show. This game's music is... not music.

Personally I would rather replace it with Tiberian Sun music. But everyone has their own opinions.

What?! I love the Music in Factorio lol.

There isn't even a single bit that I don't like about it, I find it totally relaxing and fitting for the atmosphere of the game.

I'm puzzled about the music being creepy, though maybe it's because I'm used to Horror games...

if u guys want some really good music to listen to is on sound cloud type in "epic mountain" they make awesome music and they also make music for a youtube channel called "kurgestat" or "in a nutshell" which are some pretty cool videos
