2021... game still crashes.

I got this game few years ago and never manage to play it... it just crashes on new game, and yes I've already tried installing physx (it says I already have lastest version installed) so.... I guess ill never get to play this game therefore I will never buy any other way of the samurai game.

Seriously these ports need to get fixed.... they always sort it out with "workournds" and that is not acceptable!!!!!!!!! FIX YOUR FREAKING GAME!!!!!!!!!

My pc specs:
i7 10700k.
32gb DDR4 Thermaltake Toughram x4 of 8gb, 3600mhz.
Asus Z490-A Prime.
GTX 1080.
Windows 10.

I wouldn't buy any old games from steam unless you know what you are doing tbh. They are careless for the ports on this platform. That said, started this game just fine without problems

How are u playing it, what are ur specs??? Now I even have a 3070 and game still crashes LOL.
Also I didn't bought this game recently... bought it several years ago that's why I'm shocked game still doesn't work... I went through 3 total overhaul hardware changes since I bought this game lmao.

Cant believe you think its hardware related for this very old game. Here are my specs, it runs very smooth

Intel Core i7-10750H processor (2.6 GHz) 16GB of memory, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU

I don't know what else to believe tbh... obviously is the software fault for not working but why is it exactly that it doesn't work for me? Obviously I tried running the game with all 3rd apps turned off (msi afterburner, rainmeter, docks, iCUE, etc...) and still crashes... I'm a pc gamer since two whole decades (and bit more) and I know fully well every machine is it's own world and game behave differently depending on each rig but at the same time I test it close to everything to make this one run and no idea why it doesn't work :S .

Maybe I just get it for ps3 and run it with rpcs3 at this point haha. Thanks for reply.

Way of the Samurai 4 has a much better port. It's not a particularly good port, but unlike what 3 seems to have gotten, 4 is in an acceptable, fully playable, state

huh, runs fine for me, and i got a way less beast machine than you lot (i5-6600k, gtx1060, 8gb ram). maybe check your nvidia control panel and disable some features.
