Maybe making ropes and suspending bridges from ceiling?
Steel cables becomes handy for that.
Of course once a bridge is put up we need something to prevent object from being packaged easily, so people don't mistakenly removed stuff or grief it.
Maybe making it so packing can be only done with a screwdriver equipped and held?
I do like the idea of cabled bridges that support from the top rather than bottom, that would be an amazing addition.
Though I don't think hostile things minded the legs, so mechanically at might be fine. Still, would be nice if it either pick the shortest of either option, or you had a way to swap it. Having a second bridge type for hanging supports would feel awkward, and I wouldn't want to have that.
