Defence structures attacking

Hey, why defence structures are attacking me? How to avoid this? I thought if it is my strcutures, especially tesla tower, it shouldn't attack me at all

How would a charged coil know who you are?

Make sure it's facing the right direction and then also connect it to a lever so you can turn it off when you wanna pass it.

Also, remember that most attacks happen at night, so your defenses need batteries. But those batteries have to be before the lever, otherwise the defenses will continue running from battery power even with the lever turned off. I made this mistake with a killzone of five Tesla coils, and felt very silly walking away at 2 HP to fix my design.
