World in the Mirror Changes
The world in the mirror is really quite boring for a base location. I have a few suggestions to spice it up.

-Day/night cycle. Might ruin the liminality, though.
-Make mannequins rarely and randomly appear in the distance of the fields, looking towards whatever base is built near the hatch, for no apparent reason. Maybe they break upon being approached?
-Make the entrance area buildable, because it really seems like it should be.
-Occasionally, the door with tracks leading to it will open when the player isn't looking then shut when the player looks over.
-Maybe make the doors in the entrance area enterable?

Meh, changing the mirror dimension now wouldn't really feel right. It's supposed to be a grassy, empty and bright field. And adding some creepy factor like the mannequins would honestly just cheapen it as a concept.

I feel like a better way of spicing it up would be to add more big, empty spaces behind each of the doors, each one having a different style and atmosphere. This way you could cater to those that want a dark or creepy space to build without taking from the original mirror world.

More than anything, having a mirror world-like space with bare instead of grassy ground would be really nice.

Yeah, having the doors go some place would be the way to go.

If you want horror, there is that one blood stained door...

I think flatgrass should stay flatgrass where any horror present is purely liminal.

The doors are still worth expanding on though.

I was left a bit disappointed by my visit. For some reason, I was really expecting that there would be some way to open at least one of the doors, and inside it you'd find an old abandoned bomb shelter or something that adds to its lore. Perhaps a journal which vaguely mentions how nobody can survive on the surface any more. You don't have to say what happened on the surface or where the people in the bomb shelter went, just let people's imaginations take over from there. But as is, there's barely anything for the imagination to work with - it's a big, empty field where nothing ever happens.
