water quality of life change suggestion

what would be the odds of being able to use items that collect water to remove purified water from pots instead of needing to take the whole pot and dump it into something else?
I would like to be able to streamline the process by collecting from the pots, refilling them, then hauling the liquid to a more permanent storage so i don't lose so much time fiddling with the pots and reducing the downtime on the stove.
