Snap Grid system?

This has probably been suggested by someone else before but can we get the option of like a snap grid system when placing items? I am admittedly pretty OCD so my need to have things lining up just right can be a nightmare when trying to place things in freeform.

It's been talked about several times, but there is no grid system in the game.
(but I know exactly what you mean)

I think an edge and corner detect system that you can snap to would be good to have; and something you can easily toggle so you can get what you want.

Currently trying to build in the Mirror world and attempting to make something resembling a house but trying to line up bookcases just right is a pain tbh so a snap grid would be nice to have.

I know there is a mod that does something similar but I think I would rather it just be an official feature.
