Workshop and Mod-ability?

Please tell me the devs are contemplating adding modding tools and workshop in the future.

I only played for 5 hours yday and I'm in complete love with this gem.

I want mod-ability so bad, so I know the future of the game will be literally limitless.

I don't know the devs background, but a map editor like valves hammer editor would add so much extra life (not that there's a lack of content thus far) but, just the idea makes my egg- head explode.

This game feels like if rimworld was a FPS in the universe of half-life (or something)

UE5 games aren't known to be very moddable unless developers makes it so... By design they encrypt and compressed game data.
