Fire Rework
I believe that one thing that needs to be changed in the future is how fire works, and how we can deal with it.

For now you can create fire by either using specific hammer and spear, or by antithermite molotov. It does some damage to everything, but it isn't very dangerous and lasts for short period of time.

I suggest it should be a much bigger problem, especially in a enclosed space underground that is GATE CF. Furniture that are flammable shoul stay on fire until destroyed. Both enemies and your character would take more damage for a longer period of time if the flames aren't extinguished. Smoke should fill the place, and not only decrease your field of view, but hurt you. Suddenly a new way to use gasmasks other than preventing spores infection. There is also a room for the flamethrowers that were alredy sugested.

Of course there should be ways to fight fires. Not only with buckets full of water, but also strucktures that could be build by players and then filled with water. Not to mention that there's a lot fire extinguishers around. In the end fire should be a greater deal than it is now in my opinion.

There isn't really a great way to make fire a big deal without making it completely overshadow electricity- Not unless you wanna add a system to throw water all over the floor and shock everything with electricity that's connected to it by the puddles.

Electricity is another thing that can be changed in the future. In fact there's greater chance that devs would rework it on their own, even without many voices from the community. That's why I made this tread. Fire could be done, but the game can go on with how things are now. Electricity is much more important.

The big problem with implementing fire in a way that's destructive to the environment is that you're going to get a lot of players who will get frustrated and quit because their base got set on fire, or they ran out of things to easily disassemble, or whatever other possible scenario you can think of that would make someone run to the discussion forums to say the game is awful because the average person who plays videogames is actually really bad at critical thinking skills to the point where valve had to put arrows on the walls to make players look up.
