That this phobia is not in a list on wikipedia does not imply that it does not exist. Wikipedia is not all-knowing, nobody would assume that. Instead it is likely an indicator that this phobia is rare or hasn't been studied so that there are no valid sources for Wikipedia to quote from.

If you google it there is very little information which is likely because it is very rare (not non existent) which means rational devs have to devote their time for the most impact which are phobias like arachnophobia which is much more common. The devs have already stated that they will try to accommodate phobias as time allows.

A phobia is an anxiety disorder, defined by an irrational, unrealistic, persistent and excessive fear of an object or situation.

Update on IS-102. Human exposure to the phage has highly negative effects, transforming victims into hyper aggressive, mindless predators. While it encourages breeding in its original hosts, human hosts seem only to consume one another. If there are useful applications of this phenomenon, I am slow to see them. I have given Tengku two weeks to show productive results.

they do not seem super hyper aggressive + they look pretty dead to me and it gives you the "strange virus" effect when you get bit, and those pheromones are not exactly transmitted when bit, but even when breathing it in. Maybe it`s just a dev oversight or a simplification so that you don`t have to wear a diving suit when fighting zombies, but i don`t think it`s actually the love potion
