Need direct IP connect to server
I try to setup server on linux, cannot make it work for half hour

it would be nice to be able to connect to servers through their ip if that's what you mean

yes sorry i mix the suggestion at same time.
1. direct connect server by ip
2. linux support for dedicated serever

direct connect would be great. Dunno why thats not implemented.

+1 PLZ add manual IP connection or fav servers somehow. the steam intergrated server browser doesn't work to connect. my server is hosted locally and remotely over VPN. I can connect via LAN, but I just can't connect via my VPN subnet (10.z.x.y:7777 and 27016).

looks like "-DirectConnect" as startup argument adds the ability to connect via ip:port, and password with ip:port?pw=pw123
