Snipers do not need high damage, unlimited range AND heavy bleeding.
Remove the heavy bleed effect, even Thick Skinned doesn't help against it.

I wouldn't even mind the heavy bleeding if tech bandages weren't so expensive or if you could clear it consistently with a few cloth bandages instead of it being random, OR if heavy bleeding couldn't stack with itself.
The Heater/Charge shield can block their shots, which helped me out when I discovered it, but sometimes I'm caught off guard and then heavy bleeding sheers off an insane amount of health.

The problem with heavy bleeding is it's RETROACTIVE now so you always need to carry dozens of bandages in case you get it. It makes the turret section in the labs an utter nightmare now as Snipers will inflict bleeding with a single shot and then you heal it, get hit again and START BLEEDING AGAIN.
Use your shield to block sniper shots.

we all complain but we forget u have a plastic shield that blocks shots, use it.

How much Stealth skill do I need to prevent them 180 on me whenever I sneak from their backs, they are pretty Psychic if you ask me.

They do seem to have some special line of sight rules. Most enemies will only see you at max sneaking when you get within 8-10ish meters in front of them but the snipers must be programmed to just see everything in front of them in order to operate properly. Regardless, if you manage to avoid ever being in front of them then I think all the same rules apply and all that gets much easier when you get the quiet-stepping perk (I think around level 8?).

They also ignore weather effects. You'd think a thick fog would make it harder for them to see us, but no.

Increasing the delay between shots, or forcing them to reload after five shots (like players, or their fellow Order soldiers), are also valid nerf options.

Honestly in all fairness that's kinda what a sniper does....

I do however take issue with the fire rate as for a sniper it's kinda nutty how fast they can supposedly aim, shoot, chamber a new round, and aim again all that quickly

I don't really think they're a huge problem, however, the one on the catwalk in hydro plant is super annoying and should be the only one to not respawn. It basically spawn camps popular teleporter spots.

Yeah until they shoot you from a distance where they're the size of a pixel and you don't know where the shot came from and then immediately fire again before you can get their position. Plus not everyone carries a shield.

You can fire a bolt action rifle at nearly two rounds a second while having *perfect* accuracy at over 700 yards?

how are the snipers finding you, underground, at "night" with no lights anywhere ?? through the fog no less, and at times they shoot you in the water. are they telepathic ? did they come straight out of STALKER ? I said come in! don't stand there!

Its just nutty coding and needs a rebalance.

They also track you through walls and insta aimbot shoot you twice point blank before you can kill them most of the time.

In case you don't know yet, their bullet are high-impact, so even if you block it with shield, they can easily knock you off your stair. I got my share of pain when trying to fight one, it constantly knock me off the stair and break my legs
