His name's Herbert. He hates when people call him Bob.
You'd crap your pants too if you _remember_ every other timeline you died in.
But... the creepy bad-touch of an inside-out, human octopus that floats in the air like a moist flesh balloon is so much fun!
It's a disembodied head from a disemboweled body, with all the organs hanging out.
Seriously though I wish devs would add a sandbox option to limit it to Labs or something. And probably make the X-Ray turrets actually target it when it enters their radius (or at least spin faster).
That is what you see. I see... perfection. ;)
However, turrets are pretty short ranged.
Also I don't hate Leyak, I just find it slightly annoying.
I called it a floating lung monster, especially given the looks and the stifled breathing it does, before seeing the wiki page on the real life lore of Leyak, where it is described as how I said it, and then it made a bit more sense.
I kind of thought of it as a 4 dimensional creature dipping their head into our reality, which is why you only see a floating head, lungs, and other bits, as they become tangent to our reality.
The only thing I would suggest changing it spawning mechanics to a probability chance so after 15 minutes, the game begins begin rolling every minute after after every failed spawn it increases the odds, Additional players will increase the odds of it spawning balancing it out for larger groups. If you are dead set on decreasing the chance of it spawning, they could add a Trinket that would also decrease the odds of it spawning, adding a negative modifier is chance of spawning. For groups of players it could could decrease the chance of that player being targeted by the lurker as well.
