The only thing that made me happy was the carbuncle pizza and cake.
If you can't post anything useful, let alone insulting or manipulative, then don't post at all.
If you clearly can't handle the annoyance and frustration that comes with Early Access development, you shouldn't have bothered playing it yet.
Playing right now and still getting the fog. The brightness is the worst part of it, thought if it was toned back on density as well that would be great. I assume it's supposed to be leaking in from Flat Hill, so it would make sense to only be partially as dense.
The brightness is still a bit harsh. It could use a bit more toning down.
Apologies for hurting your feelings with my internet pixels.
Enjoy your weekend bb ❣️
I did enjoy this game a lot. I have played the parts that are currently implemented and am waiting for the ice cream to melt so I can make a cake. I look forward to the next update.
In the meantime, all I can say about the fog is that I think it is too foggy, more so than Flat hill.
You might want to re-read what I said. I never said that people can't express their thoughts or frustrations. I expect rants, I expect ideas that are walls of text, but most importantly I expect people to post the how's and why's of what went wrong or what they think would be neat to add, because they love the game and want it to be better, and not act like some spoiled brat that had their fun ruined by an inconvenience.
If you think advising people that they might not want to be here, because the frustrating game is currently changing, has bugs, and is unfinished as gatekeeping, well... I have some bad news for you. That's called stating the facts. It is better for them (and for us) to stay out of EA and for them to wait for it to be finished.
(currently, the spore event seems near superficial, getting a lung infection for awhile and that's it if unprotected)
The whole point of the fog is to reduce visibility; It isn't just to mimic the feel of Flathill. Given how we have a monster dedicated to that event, it would be a hard sell to just cut out the fog event altogether. I already suggested toning down the brightness a bit so it is easier on the eyes, but having it be even less dense might eat into the effect it is supposed to do.
That said, maybe not having such events happening in every sector might be better. That way players have the option of doing things elsewhere if such an event is too much for them. While I haven't had much of an issue navigating in fog, other players wind up being hold up in their base, waiting (and waiting for over 30 minutes!) because of fog, and that's not fun at all. This could also mean that more events could cycle around, allowing people the option to both hunt for an event or avoid it.
that fog do be dense as hell
i played a little bit post-update and finally got it and got a migraine in like 10 seconds
it's like minecraft VR or needles in my eyeballs
