Fog
The new fog weather is far too dense and intense for how long it lasts. Fog density needs to be reduced regardless but the reduction should be based on if and by how much fog duration is reduced. If the current duration stays the same, fog density needs to be reduced to about the same as Flathill. Higher densities are only tolerable for so long before it just becomes annoying over being a challenge. I know fog is also meant to be the spawn condition for the new enemy, but the rewards just don't make it worth trying to explore the current fog over going afk to just wait out the annoyance of the fog.

i agree its very hard on the eyes after a while

It definitely illuminates how dirty your monitor's gotten over the years.
But more than that, I take issue with how it does nothing to conceal my presence. I still get spotted by enemies. Thank goodness I've played through the game once already, or this fog would be a serious hindrance to learning my way around the facility.

(Playing on DX11 by the way.)

agreed the fog needs to be...toned back a little because its way too thick at the moment, ironically the fog is more tolerable at night because it lets you see a little further by few meters instead just in front of your nose

Agreed.

Daytime fog needs to be toned down, aside from very poor visibility, it's giving me eyestrain for trying to navigate through it for too long

The fog is ok during the night, but makes the game unplayable during the day. Please fix soon

Agreed! It's way too intense and bright.

It lasts a full 24 in-game hours I think

Fog should be reduced a bit and maybe make it so that our little glowy attachments can 'part' the fog a bit for better visibility, then we have a craftable later game solution for the fog.

How do you even get rid of the fog

you wait, it lasts 24 in-game hours

There's 3 different weather types and only one can occur during the in-game week and it's only for one day. It occurs too infrequently to be problematic. I've only gotten the Flathill Fog once and it's been roughly 13 in-game days since I've had weather, in general.

Tested things out, and the first weather event I got was the fog. I liked the critter that comes with it, really spooky, nice and challenging, etc, but the fog was literally uncomfortable to work with for the entire day cycle (which is 30 mins by default). Night time fog seemed broken, as it was just night time with fat dust motes in the air, and causing light sources to be spoopy dim; which in of it self didn't look bad, but at that point it wasn't fog anymore.

Either tone down the effect just a little bit, or make it more grayed out. This isn't fog out in the daylight, this is fog in a building. It should likely be more gray than blinding daytime white.

I honestly think Fogs just too bright white needs to be more grey tinted as hurts eyes after abit with every thing glowing like it is

I get the idea but in reality fog is just anti fun

This addition really showcases why we need to be able to edit server variables after initialization. I don't mind the fog in the wider scope of things, but it really needs to be toned back and/or less frequent. It's pretty boring to stand around for 30 minutes waiting for night to come just to be able to see.
