Please just let money picked up go directly into our wallet.
It's an annoying point of busy work to pick up a dollar bill, go into your inventory and then click on it *again* to actually add it to your wallet.

just use the " take all " button.
-- it automatically does that whole process for you.

You've clearly never picked money up that's dropped from either a random container that's been dismantled or a soldier. Money "in the wild" as it were is treated like an actual item until it's added to your wallet.

odd, not once has interacting with the dropped item itself, ever, ended up not being auto-converted.
-- could it be that it works differently for keyboard and mouse, than it does for controller?

if that's the case, there may be an keybind solution to replicate what the controller does, on keyboard, to have that auto-convert there too.

Huh, maybe it IS a controller issue. I am playing with an Xbox One controller, it's just more comfy for me.

Yeah, unless they plan on using money in a recipe it should just go directly into the wallet.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug, since you can't actually interact with money in your inventory - clicking on it just adds it to your "money".

I am not playing with a controller, but have also experienced this issue when grabbing money off the ground.

I think that's a feature that turned into a bug.

So, I can see the need for something like that on multiplayer, because currently there is no way to transfer funds. You can leave cash in storages or on the table, but there is no way to give cash that was dropped by a killed hostile. You could pick it up and drop it again for a friends.

However, the act of selecting it uses the cash and adds it to your wallet. :steamfacepalm: (so much for sharing)

Odd, hopefully they find a way to transfer cash ...then again you dont' really NEED to as anything you can buy with money you can just hand over to the person that wants/needs it. Far as I know anyway.
