The monster you get who is only visible to one player...
I hate this, being the one player he kills over and over. Yes, if I notice the sounds and can find him (he tends to hide behind walls and I have to track the sounds) I can stare at him if there is time left, but overall this is just BS. He should switch his obsession to a different player every now and then. Frankly, I'm about to quit playing the game.

Are you playing without headphones? To me the moan sounds are very noticeable and they also slightly muffle every other environmental noise when it happens so it stands out even more.

I'm playing with headphones. If I start concentrating on something, my mind blocks out other things like small sounds, and I don't notice that he's around. My brain doesn't like to multitask. Probably came from growing up in a small house with lots of siblings. I just block things out.

Ooh okay, well hopefully the devs add a way to stop the creature from spawning for a few days or something, I personally like the creepy weirdo stalker but the frequency of it does get a bit old.
Btw you can build an X-Ray tower that automatically deters it, so you can at least make your base a safe zone.

There is imo a balance problem with a lot of enemies, just give them time to work the kinks out.

As far as I can tell they only spawn at night, so just being in a powered base should prevent spawns as per usual.
I dont like the leyak (invisible monster). its actually really easy to deal with but up till the point of the game where you meet it, the game has been chill and fun to explore. Afterwards this guy is a permanent potential threat wherever you go. Theres suppose to be like 3 or 4 more sectors and more portal worlds and i don't see it being fun with it stalking you everywhere.

Really? I've never seen him outside of that sector so far.
Yeah I had it spawn the office cubicle area. Was certainly a surprise lol

Well, that'll be... Fun. Perhaps it's because I haven't progressed far enough to unlock the deployable that wards them off- Presumably they don't follow you around everywhere until that's available.

No, they follow you everywhere, including powered bases and any time of day. Mine shows up every few minutes. Most of the time, he spawns out of sight, and when I hear him, it's a mad dash to try to figure out where he's hiding.

Jumping down to a different area can cause him to stop chasing you. Of course, you break your leg or die, depending on how far you jumped.

Good news! The recent patch adjusted the rates of that creature down. :steamhappy:
