The current system still feels awkward, even after what has to be over a hundred hours of play (from 2nd Playtest, demo, and now EA).
Shift + Click transfer fulll stack
Shift + Right click transfer one
Ctrl + click Transfer half
Shift + number transfer amount
Shift + scroll transfer in both directions one at a time on each scroll tick
Shift-scroll thing? - I never heard of it used but it sounds good!
We could also use:
1. Shift+click on item in inventory: swaps with current hotbar item
2. Click on "recycle", then shift+click on a stack: recycle whole stack at once (it's a chore otherwise).
I tried looking for a thread I made, and then a thread I was looking right at, and it gave no results.
(also bumping back to the top, because reasons.
Shift Scrolling is a minecraft thing I believe. Since it's so popular, probably can be used widely.
Your 1. thing is not intuitive. I've seen games use hotbar keys to swap with what's on that hotbar cell. Just press 1-0 to swap with that cell. I think this is much more intuitive and fast.
And recicle is fixed now. And I'm happy with their simplest solution. Scrapping stack of pipes is a breeze now.
