Reduce staplers needed for Projection Matrix
The exponential cost of equipment utilizing memory bricks/projection matrix as your player count increases is ridiculous.
4 per matrix is really expensive considering how the most renewable stapler source Flathills will yield roughly 8 staplers, so just a measly 2 matrix per reset.

This cost is fairly balanced for just one player but as you stack on more players it becomes excessive.

I second this.

imo we should be able to trade for them at the blacksmith

There should be a better way to get renewable staplers, yes. I ran out and have stayed out- And I'm in solo!

you can find 10 of em in flathill.

I think the amount is fine, but yeah, the amount of things requiring a matrix is rather annoying. As MaD says, there's quite a few in Flathill, and anteverses replenish frequently, but a lot of players sort of ignore this feature... might be something the developers have to address in their design philosophies going forward.

There needs to be a better resource for staplers than Flathill, like supply closet full of them or something. I've used them rarely in Solo and am scrounging every where to get more so I can make projection matrixes.

we truly need a way to trade for staplers seeing just how many of them you need

When is The Coworker going give us more than a few staplers? :steamfacepalm:

Do we need to bake him a casserole or something to get a reliable source of him?!

as a solo player i think there are too little staplers aswell, i can't imagine that same scarcity with multiple players. it def should be trade-able.

There's a few items that are difficult to stock up on. Staplers are one of them. The less we use for certain crafts, the better, especially for the Projection Matrix since it's a key item for a lot of (currently) late-game blueprints.

I read this when I first started playing and laughed. I'm like they are everywhere! Here I am almost finished and you guys are right. I couldn't imagine playing this multiplayer with the amount of high end crafting needing staplers. Flathill is also the most annoying portal world to farm so not looking forward to that.

I also just realized the portal worlds don't always reset when they say they do. Anyone run into this? I'm currently AFKing the game praying that mycelium actually resets so I can progress in the game.

That's still only *two* matrixes.

An easy solve would be an "Office Supply Closet" somewhere in the facility filled with like, 40 staplers. Yeah you'd have to find it first but it beats having to farm Flathill for a couple of hours.

Maybe they should have like, an office supply fabricator there you can trade certain amount of scrap metal or plastic to get stuff like staplers, rubber band balls, desk phones, and whatnot in the labs.

Yes. A nerd version of the blacksmith would be awesome.
