fantastic.

Feels better in single player - the game has a story/intractable PCs etc. It also would be really simple with 2+ players, especially with the additional inventory/mule capabilities.

not to hijack a thread, but what happens if you die? If I buy this I most likely would be playing solo.

in SP you respawn at a safe location, it can be abused, but you lose everything in inventory, not the hotbar though, the inventory stays with the corpse so youll have to get it.

worth noting that anything equipped and / or in your hotbar, that has durability, will take durability damage.
Thanks guys.
What about hltb and replay ability

Depends on how you set up the sandbox settings. By default, if you die you will lose everything in your backpack. Anything that you do not drop will take 10% durability damage. You can retrieve your inventory, though.

Not sure what hltb is, but replayability is probably slim. The game isn't randomized - it's more like co-op Deus Ex in terms of gameplay. You go through a progression with the crafting/exploration but nothing is random.

EDIT: Replayability will increase if workshop support is added and with sandbox modifiers in multi of course - but every run of the core game is going to be the exact same.

Very good solo
HLTB is How long to beat :)

Haven't beaten the current version yet, but the estimated play time players have come up with (not the devs) when fully done is like 60-120 hours. With there being several different ways to play, you could expect the average player to have 2-4 full replays, which would amount to several hundred hours of playtime.

solo is very enjoyable, only issue you'll run into is simply your inventory being limited, and moving base locations as you open up more of the games areas can be quite the time eater, even if you are efficient.
