Press "M" for local map

Played the beta, loved it, bought a copy for myself and 2 friends, the only thing we find we forget in the heat of science, is where your maps are located. As of now they are in your journal, in the local area, on the right. A simple "M" hotkey to open up a local map, would do wonders; Still keep the maps in "J" as you can view other maps from there, but "M" to open the map with your current position in, would do wonders.

Same. So many games use this. It should automatically bring up the relevant map for the area and then be able to cycle through them.

Yeah,m its super annoying to have to click 4 things to get to map.. Dedicated hotkey would be great!

Yes! It's terribly inconvenient to constantly press "J", then select a sector, and then click on the map of the desired level.
