The Stargate could then lead to some kind of procedurally generated world or worlds that reset each week.
The portal could have a control panel that would give the user control over the kind of randomized world they wanted to explore. A randomized Anteverse 2? A randomized Flathill? more enemies? less?
The Stargate could also serve as a possible avenue of linking in future DLC or Modded Storylines / labs.
So on the console you would select the randomized world option or the DLC specific coordinates option.
I suppose if they really wanted to go all out on end game content they could emulate "Path of Exiles" end game map system but that would be a bit much.
