The slushie bomb and alternate explosives
I'm loving the game so far and I'm trying to experiment more with the throwables. One you get early on is the slushie grenade and to be frank it is a nade that hits way above it's weight class in my opinion. If playing co-op, maybe even solo but I haven't tested, this nade trivializes many fights because it's so strong. I'd remove the machine out of the office sector tbh, but it would be fun to add some more alternate explosives.

I've noticed that from killing robots my group has an excess of sodas. Maybe a kind of soda can grenade could be put together and deal a starter level of explosive damage. Maybe the ingredients could include a sugary snack, mimicking a mentos + diet soda reaction. Animation could include shaking it before throwing.

Another idea came to me of a kind of shotgun trap involving a microwave (can't remember if they're package-able), a stapler, an energy cell or plugged into the wall, and be reloaded with a potato. An enemy comes close and it heats the potato, exploding out in a cone of searing spuds after a satisfying *ding*

A potato launcher would also be fun *wink wink*

There are a few other grenade types in the game, I'll just say that.

Also, several things in this game are super effective against enemies, for better or worse.

I already have a couple other grenade types, which are a little obnoxious to make

A fire bomb type weapon would be nice... For instance in flat hills and furniture store you can find alcoholics in bottles that you normally can't get in the facility.
Then you can craft a molotov using the alcoholics and paper scraps.

Mugnades (literally) blow all the other grenades out of the water at the moment, and you get access to those in manufacturing. I think the slushie grenade is in a good spot right now just because a lot of players don't think about using traps on the security robots

I think there is a fire type grenade, but that's way later into the progression.

It does use a more annoying and hard to get ingredient.

Imo we need throwables that stack are cheap and that are not grenandes. Leveling throwing is the slowest of all skills for me consistently.

Slushi grens are fine, they don't do damage after all.

I think a lot of common items should have damage values assigned to them for throwing. Like, if your crossbow breaks and you still have bolts, why not throw some of the bolts? It's still pretty sharp and aerodynamic enough. Throwing a pipe at someone has to hurt pretty bad, too.

Maybe we can use the paper to make those silly paper footballs that people would make in the office and flick them at enemies, lol. Or a rubber band paperclip slingshot, or paper ninja stars with pens as the sharp ends. Something less annoying than winding up a rubber band ball all the time.

I do agree that a bit more variety would be nice. There are some neat ideas here! It would also be great to make leveling the throwing skills less of a chore.

I do think slushie bombs are quite powerful, but I am not sure I'd call them too powerful either and since you can't move the slushie machines, removing the one from the kitchen will make crafting them an absolute chore I think.
