Black world with giant eye creature?

I wish I wrote down when I saw it, but a couple days ago as I was leaving from a portal world, I was teleported into another place that was completely pitch black and had a giant floating thing with a big eye staring at me. I remember reading an email or hearing a Dr. Manse recording where they mentioned "feeling watched/observed" there so I'm sure it has something to do with that. Does it ring a bell for anyone or does anyone remember where/when you see that?

You see that when you leave the Exor Village portal world in Power Services. There are more logs/journal entries that give more insight as to why you see it in this specific place.

Yeah, that happens every time you leave the exor village. If you turn up your gamma a touch: you can actually see a sign in the distance.

I wonder, can you do something in this world like deploy a teleporter or something to explore this out of bounds?

I think it has the cascade symbol on it. But I can't get close enough to see it before you teleport back to the facility.

Did it look like a Banner? A Gatekeeper Banner[abioticfactor.wiki.gg]?

That's what it is. I wonder how the GKs got a banner there
