Can't plant Nyxshade Seed

The description has been changed and it now says "Can be planted in a Garden Plot to grow the terrifying Nyxshade plant".

However the item still doesn't seem to be usable in-game. Is it supposed to work or has the description just been changed by mistake?

might be planned to be functional in the coming updates, especially for the resource cost of the thing.
-- for now though, the only uses of it that do function, that i know of, are to trade them in for security chest keys, or to just put them in the display stands as decoration.

The christmas update changed it's description, but it intentionally can't be planted yet. This is likely due to the fact that the next major update, which will likely enable us to plant the seed, initially being planned to release before the christmas update.

I just planted one so its confirmed that you can now plant them as the prophecy foretold.
