How to level up Crafting fastest?

Aiming to get workbench fully upgraded, but so far I only reached lv 10.

There's several xp buffs you can take advantage of for leveling crafting. The Big Brain buff from drinking the Balanced Stew soup gives +10% crafting xp, the Brain Drain buff from eating a human brain gives +15% xp and equipping the Pet Rock trinket gives another small xp bonus (though I don't know how much exactly, it may be around 8% bonus xp).

If you don't care about 'cheating', opening your save's sandbox options and cranking up the xp multiplier is another option.

Early game, I lived off of pop from the security bots, and then crafted all the metal from drinking them into screws.

Could use a bunch of farm plots to grow a ton of potatoes and salvage them. Making screws is also a good idea if you're into base building they get used a lot.

wood to paper to cloth to nets, salvage for paper. lots of clicks but wood is useless and easy to get a mountain of and while it is a lossy process its not of valuable resources. get 1k exp per cycle with a decent backpack with no modifiers.

If you don't want to expend any materials, craft water bottles and scrap them over and over again. You use 1 plastic scrap, make a bottle, scrap that bottle, and get that 1 plastic scrap back. A downside is that bottles don't stack, but that doesn't matter too much if you just repeat the cycle of craft 10, scrap 10, repeat.

+1 for screws. You will need literally hundreds of them, so just go nuts crafting stacks upon stacks of them

get wood, drink xp boosting soup and put on a pet rock, make paper scraps, turn it into cloth, turn that into nets, turn that into paper scraps, turn it into cloth, turn it into nets, repeat until you run out, get more wood, drink more soup, and ad infinitum

If you don't want to use any resources you can craft cement bag after this recycle them and repeat this process until you reach wanted level. Use buff previously said.
