Wiki says something about "better deals" - does it mean Exchangers in Cascade Labs give more resources?

I was wondering the same thing. I tried trading 5 leyak essence for greyeb seeds but i got the standard amount. Tried trading anteverse wheat and silverware as well but I didn't notice anything unusual. Maybe this is referring to a feature that has yet to be implemented.

The wiki says hex merchant stops those trees in canaan from attacking you, idk where you found that description

Ah, found it: The item also states that "you receive more favorable trades with Anteverse XXXIII", but as Anteverse XXXIII is not currently accessible, this is presumed to involve future content.

Never got the armour so didn't know it had that effect in game until now, it looks like its not implemented yet.

It's unfortunate, since Anteverse XXXIII is same dimension Leyak is from, so technically we do trade with them.

I thought Canaan was anteverse XXXIII for some weird reason and kept looking for friendly npcs, trying different hats, thinking i need to disguise myself like the fisherman to make them trade etc... I hope we get to visit anteverse XXXIII in the next update.
