Can we please have a way to spawn a layek?

Me and friends are having issues farming the essence from the guy. we wait.. then someone with the x ray leaves to do something. someone spots them, dude runs back and hes gone already before dude can take it out. This has happened a few times now despite swithcing people that have xray gun.

So please allow us to spawn it or something because we need his stuff to progress.

If you manage to get a Layek essence from them with the X-ray gun you can trade them in a machine in the lab sector for a Greyeb seed (looks like an eyeball) or if you manage to find a seed in the lab sector you can plant them. When they grow into a Greyeb plant if you eat them it significantly increase the Layek spawn to the person who eats it.

You can eat some Greyeb "fruit" to lessen the time it takes for the Layek to spawn again!
While it doesn't "spawn" spawn them, seeing it lessens the time greatly needed for Layek to (re)spawn, it's more than worth it to get

Also restart your game.

If you are waiting for more than 30 minutes for the thing to show up (since it is on a 15 minute timer) it likely glitched out and stopped showing up. reloading the game will fix that, for a time.

This is particularly bad on dedicated servers where the runtime on the game makes it even more likely for that glitch to happen.

it usually spawn behide ur back soo eat eyeball and went AFK with turret on ur back or if want to be safe then have turret everywhere

Re-enter your world, eat a Greyeb Fruit, stand somewhere out in the open and the Leyak should appear in no time. Repeat until you get all the essence you need.

just run around and return back to your base. They seem to have a quite high chance of appearing at base (atleast 1 a day)

It spawns only 4 times and then stops until you reset the session for the most part.

If you are driving or using a tram and it spawns, then if you get too far away it actually despawns and uses up 1 count of that spawn.
