IS-0010 (Glowing Shard) missing from its containment. Bug?

While exploring the elevator cells after deactivating the security system in Containment Block I noticed an entity was missing, giving me its entry log when entering its cell. At first i thought that it was normal but after finishing the current game and reading some info it turned out to be an unique crafting item for a trinket like the gravity cube is.

Is this a bug and despawned? Is it somewhere else? Im aware some entities are missing for lore reasons but doesn't seem to be the case in this one. I'd report this but I want to know if others had the same issue.

I have the same issue in my world. I haven't gotten the cells open yet, but when I looked in there I did get its log, but it was very clearly not there.

I must have missed that as well. I knew it wasn't a bug, but I thought it was going to make an appearance elsewhere.

This is going to be hard to find that email again, since there is no search feature. (assuming I even read it already)

Me too, hahaha. Took me ages to figure out that it actually was the shard and I had to butcher the corpse to claim it.
