How to go to sleep?

New player here, I just got to the security kiosk on the first level and I see my character is tired. How do I go to sleep?

you need a bed can be unlocked when you pick up a big couch

You can sleep on the couch that's in the first break room you find yourself in. You can sleep on any 3 cushion wide couch; so don't break that down yet.

You will want to pack up a couch for a makeshift bed, but that'll be for later.

Above that is sitting in chairs of any kind, then sleeping on a Sofa, and finally in a player made bed.

Also, if you have cash, there's a coffee machine in the cafeteria security office break room.
Good way to regain some energy while out and about.
