The deatomizer is great and all, but it runs out of ammo so damned quickly, it's only good for one or two exors unless they're kind enough to sit still for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ second.
One could argue this is what the slushies are for, or the electric pads, but to hell with those slushies with the way you have to farm 1-3 at a time. placing and picking up the electric pads just to have a fighting chance is also tedious as all hell, especially with how these guys are absolutely everywhere in the new zones.
How much HP do they have along with exors.
otherwise.. slushie grenades. they aren't immune to being frozen and slushie grenades are 1$+a little tech scrap to make 3, they explode on contact, requires no throwing skills, and it's like a 6 second freeze stun. you can carry them in stacks of 10. it takes two slushie grenades to poke one to death, and I presume you could mix slushie grenades with actual grenades to kill them quickly too. honestly, you can overcome just about every single encounter in the entire game with slushie grenades. even robots.
they are weakest when fought out in the open, as their charges can be easily back-pedalled or sprinted away from, and their laser beam attack does much less damage and can be strafed. a magnum if you have +10 accuracy technically also works, or either of the +15 accuracy firearms. shotgun is okay ish but it's ideal to hit them during their slow beam attack. and since they teleport around, you can easily bring them to open ground or hit them from far away to get them to teleport to you.
Laser sword also helps with hitting them while kiting, but it is slow and you might have to drag with you a full battery. But there's no reason not to go all-out against them.
The new Robots are even tankier which is obnoxious AF.
