hello i started second playthrough and this time i have issues in security.
i have the "reach the surface elevator" objective in security sector.
been strolling around opened couple of security clearance lvl 3 doors in the sector.
the first reaper encounter was ok, got sent into the night realm, went back hacked teh door reached the surface elevator lobby - elevator is blocked with shutters and objective dont progress. the door to the storage unit C is closed...
Now i have trouble with reaper - every time i get caught - i am not sent into night realm which means i cannot progress in security sector...
i didnt have such issues during my first playthrough...

I think there’s a button for the surface elevator, once you pressed it, there will be an event that destroys elevator with debris and smacks the storage door open

Security is a little wonky with reapers now.
They also changed the crafting recipe for the T4 hacker. As someone who put the game down in the middle of security sector, I was confused af when I came back.

If you're already there, go into the side room in the same room as the elevator and hit the button to call the elevator. This may shock you, but it wont work. It does however open an area to the storage room beside the elevator.

Before I continue and say how to ♥♥♥♥ up the reapers, you NEED to go back to wildlife pens and complete the Canaan portal. Its a big tree in a lab.
To open portal you need a vine seed - from night realm AND 1 night/reaper essence.
From big lift in containment, go to floor 2 (wildlife pen entrance), turn right, past some office space and the vending machines, turn left (turning right is back to office sector), bank first right into the lab. There are a few entrances into the lab but that's the fast one from the lift.
You need to do this portal to get a key ingredient for the new T4 hacker. Otherwise you will waste your time continuing in the security sector.

The reapers will more often than not try to kill you now. Before the storage locker area just past the "surface" elevator is a great way to farm night essence. Otherwise, use the xray gun light thing to zap them, grab it, and run. You should be able to use other fire weapons to make them reset, but alot of people are having difficulty with welding spear.
Make the energy pistol as soon as you have 4. This will trivialise the reapers.

Now that you have a T4 hacker, and an energy pistol, walk to storage area (looks like storage wars with those rolly doors), go to the back, up stairs, to the next back of more lockers, and a portal will open to night realm to destroy another thingy to remove the goop off a security pad to open the next door.
Once you do that, enjoy walking all the way back to that control panel from starting area of security, YAY.
Hit the pad with T4 hacker, profit.

if you take your mouse and use it to turn 180 degrees in any direction, after which you`ll start holding the D key on your keyboard, you`ll find that there is a set of stairs behind you that lead up to a balcony. Go up there and enter the really loud portal. Now go to the center of the big lobby like room, go straight and head left through the room with a room that contains a forklift. Go through the door and turn left into the next doorway where another, smaller, lobby resides. Go right where you will find a staircase that goes up, and a keypad covered in weird black ♥♥♥♥. Go into the portal and find a white tumor. Break it and hack the keypad. Now retrace your steps to the forklift take that left turn. Jump over the counter and press a button. After that go to the right and down the stairs. There you will need to unlock the garage doors and break every crate you see (be it with iron outlines or blue in color). Do that until you can until you get the next tier hacking tool. After that just follow the portals and break the tumors until you pass by the entire sector. Use the laser down there to make the reaper instantly disappear.
