Re-Accessing Some Distant Shore

Is there an electrical outlet somewhere in SDS? I haven't gotten to it yet in my game but I'd like to set up a portal that I can more easily access the area with for fishing and fertilizer purposes.

there is no power there.
-- however, there is still an way you can setup an way to get back in.

bring 1 craftingbench, 1 fully-charged battery, and 1 personal teleporter.
-- once inside, place the bench, place the battery, plug the battery into the bench, sync the personal teleporter to the powered craftingbench, unplug the battery from the bench.

you now have your way back anytime setup.

So the best thing you can do is bring in a charged battery, a crafting table and a portable teleporter. Setup up the table and battery, hook them up and sync the portable teleporter to the table. then you can unhook it and the teleporter will bring you to that table even with it unpowered. Just keep track of which one it is.

I think you can use the laser-based perpetual energy exploit to set up anywhere regardless of outlets for that matter, can't you? Just bring a battery to get it started.

For me it was currently the quickest way back.
I had a "laser loop"-powered Crafting Bench back then, but switched to a teleport pad after accessing it through the glitch.
