Odd question about IS-0142. (the reservoir growth)

Sorry, this will seem an odd question, I'm sure. Can I ask what color IS-0142, (the reservoir growth at the dam) was for you? Be sure your night vision goggles are off, of course. The growths are always red, but what color were the base crystalline growths for you?

A murky green.

Oh wow. Okay, so it's not just a bug for the players in my multiplayer group. For three of us, it was purple. Vibrant, unmistakable purple. Two of us said it was green. We streamed to one another and confirmed it's different. It was also purple for me in singleplayer, and the wiki has a picture that seems white. I wonder what the trigger is for it to appear a different color?

Went to look at the place you took a screenshot of, and your whole screen, including the NPC is all green to you, where her color was all correct for me. I wonder if this is a bug where the nightvision green filter gets stuck on even when you have them off?

I've only ever seen it green with NVGs, and the collectible growths turn red when they're off. No purple glow when they're turned off though.

My screenshot was without NVG just a headlight. And it always looked like that for me.

I usually take:

scuba gear
headlamp
NVG

And I switch regularly between headlamp and NVG since everything is green NVG and flashlight work for different objects.

Maybe you wear something different? Or it is really a bug.

Only difference in my loadout is I never bring a headlamp. Seems like a bug to me, for sure.

That gave me an idea and I checked it and it is as I thought. It's the bloom filter. Put it to epic and you see the purple growth. Anything lower and you only see it when you are close. Have bloom on low and all you see is green.

That's definitely it for me then, I don't like bloom so I always set it as minimal as possible.
