And of course to post that during Halloween.

The thought had crossed my mind <_<

Sadly, you can't put a fan by a pre-existing bed. You have to put the bed in AFTER the fan, so you can't do any scare moments to a friend who's respawning.

decent, but.......... *sips science coffee~* could've just used the electrified water room.
-- the one on level 2 of the offices, kinda close to the elevator, has the sausage terminal in it.

Electrical damaged, in terms of leveling Fortitude got nerfed.

General Gameplay Changes:
...
  • Electric damage now gives less Fortitude XP.
I tested it and now it doesn't seem as worth it to use.

Used to poke at the dangling wire while bored on Level 2 Office, near the wrecked forklift in that bend between the two security posts.

You are welcome to keep using it, but it will take longer.

unfortunate to hear that got nerfed, it's already going to take awhile to reach level 20 on the skills, without the exp methods getting nerfed.

This does give me an idea to maybe help with leveling up Fortitude.

What if you also got XP from recovering from being sick or ill? And it also gave bit of a benefit resist being sick?

This might actually give Bad Soup a bit more of a use, as you are able to stomach it more and more. Your threshold for getting radiation sickness could also improve.
(though that's not how it works in real life, but also getting shot, stabbed, and bludgeoned isn't how you train fortitude in real life either)

agreed.
-- even i suggested progressive perk acquisition early on ( not sure if it was in the playtest, demo, or full release discussion lists ), to memory it was along the lines of your character becoming more than they started as, as you played throughout the game.

if i can find it, i'll add an reply to it to bump it forward so it can be re-seen in case it proves useful, even if just for inspiration.

I think this is the best you're going to get as it requires the least amount of input. All you have to do is click return to bed every 10 seconds if you don't care about first aid xp. You could read a book or listen to a podcast or something in the interim.

You might be able to automate it with a simple macro as well. In fact that's what I eventually did.

With that in mind, even if electrical xp hadn't been nerfed I'd still say this is the best setup as this CAN be automated entirely.
