Sadly, you can't put a fan by a pre-existing bed. You have to put the bed in AFTER the fan, so you can't do any scare moments to a friend who's respawning.

I tested it and now it doesn't seem as worth it to use.
Used to poke at the dangling wire while bored on Level 2 Office, near the wrecked forklift in that bend between the two security posts.
You are welcome to keep using it, but it will take longer.
What if you also got XP from recovering from being sick or ill? And it also gave bit of a benefit resist being sick?
This might actually give Bad Soup a bit more of a use, as you are able to stomach it more and more. Your threshold for getting radiation sickness could also improve.

-- even i suggested progressive perk acquisition early on ( not sure if it was in the playtest, demo, or full release discussion lists ), to memory it was along the lines of your character becoming more than they started as, as you played throughout the game.
if i can find it, i'll add an reply to it to bump it forward so it can be re-seen in case it proves useful, even if just for inspiration.
You might be able to automate it with a simple macro as well. In fact that's what I eventually did.
With that in mind, even if electrical xp hadn't been nerfed I'd still say this is the best setup as this CAN be automated entirely.
