Wessex Rifle drops

Is there a trick to encouraging a drop from the Snipers? I've dealt with countless snipers on the Hydroplant, over several hours of play, and have still not once found a Wessex rifle. I have tons of ammo and no weapon to use it for!

You will get it, surely but slowly. Snipers will respawn upon each game load, so you could do that. I usually get them after about 20 kills max sometimes i get them to drop back to back on rare occasions

If you don't mind cheesing it a little bit, you can find one that's fairly remote (the one across the bridge where you find the 2nd forklift in manufacturing is pretty good for this), stealth kill him, restart the game, and then stealth kill him again (and again and again etc) till the rifle drops.

You should get it after a few minutes of this (plus a boat load of ammo).
