That said: The Tri-Lamps are quite bright. They are craftable, but you unlock way later into the game. They can actually be painted to color the lighting itself, which is fun too.
Though I tend to get impatient and make basic wall lights, mostly because they look better.
Wall sconces are nice but don't provide too much light obviously.
Floodlights/Construction Lights are awesome but ugly. Im using them to flood my defensive area with light but not my actual "home".
Never bothered making the tri lamp.
Right click to place it down, and once placed it doesnt use up any power. Unless theres a modifier enabled in my world causing that for some reason.
