Am I farming the Fog monster incorrectly?

Spoiler warning thing I guess because I don't know how to do the fancy spoiler cover thing.



So I have been hunting down Symphonists like there is no tomorrow, and have killed about 22 of them. My first fight in Flathill had to have been my hardest one and it dropped the head, some shards, and an organ. That has been my only organ I have gotten. The rest have just dropped either 2 shards, maybe 3 shards if lucky, and the head. I had so many heads I started scrapping them for bioscrap simply to make room FOR MORE HEADS. It is now while writing this that I should have saved my collection as evidence, but I digress. I have been gunning these things down during Fog events and Flathill resets. After the first 10 I thought I just got lucky on the organ and that the key would be a hassle. Now I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong to fight these guys to make them drop more stuff. Or I have I simply been screwed over by RNG this badly, or is the RNG just this bad.


TLDR Is there a better way to farm organs and keys from symphonists aside from Doomguying them, or do I have to become a bishop of RNJesus in order for them to drop?

It's just a low drop rate.

These enemies are meant to spawn throughout the full game (when visiting the portal world or weather events) so grinding them out is painful but possible.
