where to find keys

the update notes say the cacophonous and ornate chests can be opened with keys, has anyone figured out where to get those?

Well, the patch notes seem to imply the Order Captains (the guys with the red berets) might have the key for the ornate chests. Logic would dictate the Order personal should have the keys to those chests, and the captain would make sense since he is an officer.

But the Cacophonous chest.... I have no idea. Somewhat worryingly I suspect you might have to "deal with" our new interdimeional friend in the Fog. So.... time to go hunting for IS-0407 I guess?

ah, Ive just been lingering near the fountain, was wondering if it was like the leyak where it spawns in an area around you.

got him, took a fair few hits and he threw me around a bit but i managed to kill it, it looked like there were three of them for a moment so i'm keeping my guard up for now

i've killed several already, fairly certain they don't drop the key, unless its as rare as a grenade, mil shotgun, magnum, and rat armor.

They only drop materials that make Maestro armor, which quote "feel lighter than normal, and bring a bit of anteverse I everywhere you go."

also I don't think they dropped anything I can use for a key, all I unlocked was a scarecrow

Well, the Picture on the Steam update page.... the key to the cacohonous chest looks like some sort of Organ or a Heart of some kind. Like..... far as I know we still can't KILL the Composers but..... those chests looks so much like them that it makes you wonder....

definitely looks like a organ from the fog enemies, but I didn't get a recipe for a key of sorts, maybe I need another material to unlock the recipe

i'm going to hunt a few more to see if there's a rare drop, similar to the arms needed for the biometric scanner

Any weapon? I ventured into FH and saw the one, emptied a arc thrower on it.

Can confirm that the Captains do drop the ornate keys. Haven't found the fog entities yet to try my luck with them. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3276366135

I just killed my first fog entity, didn't seem to drop any keys. It's possible that it may be a rare drop from them, even though they are already rare to even find.

The fog entities are immune to electricity, I believe.
