my makeshift pot is bugged

When i try to add water by pressing F with the water bottle in my hand it just picks the pot back up off the stove

Known and often complained about issue. Fill the pots from the lobby fountain and take em back to be boiled

You can also fill up water coolers or barrels at the fountain, haul them back to base (can be done in bulk with a cart easily) and then fill your pots from the cooler. Saves lots of walking in the long run.

I am aware, but the walking time saved isnt saved, it just becomes time spent micromanaging loading and unloading the coolers. Since the real time gate on this is only being able to have a few pots boiling at once, I prefer the short run which gains sprinting xp and gets shorter as you level sprinting.

It's a somewhat short run if you're in the cafeteria, but not everyone has their base there, so I didn't wanna make the assumption. Also, if you control + F to unload and shift click to load the cart it's a very quick process (putting one barrel/water cooler in and the ctrl + Q should be even quicker for loading it up).
