What happened to my fridges?

Before this hotfix my fridge settings were "perfectly preserves food". Which was still bugged because food would still take decay hits even while functioning but I lived with it because it still greatly preserved food.

But after this hotfix food is taking just as much damage inside a fridge as outside. I shut off and replugged all my fridges again but they are still NOT preserving food AT ALL.

Whatever was wrong before has gotten WORSE with this hotfix. Its basically pointless for me to have fridges in my game now and ALL my meat and veggies are going bad.

What happened?

Have you tried rebuilding them? My fridge is fine I have a bug where nothing cooks and I have to repeatedly take it off and on the stove until it finally finishes. Rebuilding the stove works for me.

I might have to check on this later.

I had some milk that was decaying in the frig just as fast as it was out of it, but otherwise the rest seemed fine... maybe?

Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't tried that yet, so I logged back in for testing. I took everything out of my fridges, repackaged them, replaced them, then put everything back. I also took a single piece of all my decayable food and kept them in my inventory as a control, as well as putting some inside a trashbin for testing.

Things are decaying FASTER in my fridges than in my inventory or in other types of storage.

Which is just... awful... I wish this had worked, but it did at least force me to test it and find out how bad my fridges are right now. For some reason.

Reverse fridge lol. Gonna test this later. I'm pretty sure my fridge works normal. Just to make sure: you have the fridge connected and the little snowflake icon inside is colored and saying that it is on?
