Do pest wheels work any better with electric pests?
Title. I mean, they're used to generate electricity, electric pests do that already... I haven't bothered trying to trap one, since they'd only be useful in one sector, and I don't have a base there. ...Also, I tried the pest wheel once. Barely filled a makeshift battery 30% for 3 hours before it stopped working. Didn't feel inclined to try it with the evolved pest yet given how useless the normal kind is.

It seems to be the same. I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the pest wheel, it just doesn't make sense. It's not worth feeding the pest every 3 hours, and you can't link them all up together (if you could it would make sense.) I think it's made for people who only play on night only mode, as it's so useless to any other gameplay. I'm mad I didn't realize this before and wasted materials on two of them thinking i'd be able to double the output.

Even at night only mode you can't get out of the Cafeteria without a powered crafting bench to make the battery. You cant even make the pest generator without power. My guess is its for locations without an outlet and batteries are easy to make but outlet locations that they're pointless to make.

My pest wheel with a fed pest won't even charge an unplugged battery. Ever. It is just an empty battery.
