is there a specific way to kill order soldiers to get their guns?

i have probably killed like 70 order dudes so far and they dropped their weapon like maybe less than 5 times. Stored one magnum and smg since i cant use em, not sure if snipers drop ANYTHING at all since i fragged like 4 of them and they never drop anything. What made me suspicious is that they only dropped a pistol ONCE, butchering them doesnt seem to do anything other than giving me arms. Do i gotta net them? kill em with traps? the former is how you get the lab rat pack so is it the same case here?

I've killed many soldiers in many different ways and don't think there was a common likn between the times they dropped their guns for me, other than maybe never getting a weapon from them dying to traps (And I have a coil setup that auto kills order invasions, so there's a decent sample size).
