Can I turn on Sanbox settings after starting a game with the default settings?
As title suggests I have had my single player save for awhile. I am struggling to find some basic resources because I used them all crafting stuff. I was wondering if its possible to edit my save to turn on Item respawn? I cant seem to find an option regarding that. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or is there a portal world that respawns screws?

When the world save is created it's in it's own format that isn't readable... So you can't change it normally. I'm trying to host a dedicated server using the tool and trying to get the settings to stick, but no matter what I do the 'starter weapon' being a shiv never works.

If I host via ingame menus it works for sure though, so it might be more reasonable to create a world first via ingame, but don't go in the world yet. Then copy and paste this world into the dedicated server's world folder.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\<SteamID>\Worlds\<world name>\SandboxSettings.ini

Since you're using default settings the file will be empty.

You can use these for reference

make a new game, change all settings under "modify sandbox settings" and i do mean all.
(makes it easier later)
then start the new game and once you're in the new game and can walk around, exit back to main menu.
next part is, load game, there you should have two to choose from.
your original save and the new one.
now click the new save and press the "open save folder"
(you should get a windows file manager open)
enter the folder for the new save, in it should be a file called "SandboxSettings.ini"
right click and copy.
then go back a folder and enter the original save folder, paste the "SandboxSettings.ini" file.
and done.

now your original save game has whatever sandbox settings you want.
just change it in the "SandboxSettings.ini" file and save it, then load the game.

I kind of wish the SandboxSettings.ini was populated with data and documentation. That way it makes it way easier to do edits after the fact, rather than having to look things up.
