Any way to get more space lettuce

I misplaced my sample and didn't have any seeds left, is there a way to get more?

If you are at the beginning of the game, then there is a portal. It's initially open and leads to a small area with two shooting monsters, some wild lettuce, and a Geiger counter in hand on a corpse. There will be several more places with this salad later in the game

By the way, you can also disassemble it on a workbench and get seeds :)

If you mean the eye thing, yes, but you'd be better off finding your sample- You need Leylak Essence to trade for a new one somewhere in the labs, which means getting some xray tech up. After that you can craft it into seeds to grow more.

Yeah space lettuce is different to the wheat. It's in a later area, I accidentally lost them so I couldn't make more seeds with a salvage bench.

I have plenty of the eye plant, space lettuce is one of the "scp" things in a chamber, I grew some but then lost it after so wondering if there's more or if I'm stuck with super tomatos and eye plants lol

Never seen it. Check if the gravity cube has respawned. If it has, then it'll probably respawn on portal reset if you're not there, and if it hasn't, then you're probably boned.

I've still got my cube, but I don't think it respawned. I don't think it's needed for anything, it was just better than the super tomatos and looked nice to grow

IIRC, IS's don't respawn. I'm not sure if you can get more Space Lettuce but there might be some in the Anteverse after you get Tarrasque Ichor from the Labs. If you can't get them there, you're not softlocked but you won't be able to cook some soups.

Yeah, I'd gotten the spoilered part and was exploring there but didn't see any, it's just a shame I won't be able to make more of the lettuce tomato wrap things.

I did the same, by accidentally letting my lettuce die.
Only way to get more is starting over completely, you might be able to take the playerdata file from another world to recover it in your current one(have not tried).

Yeah, mine was an even worse error I accidentally packaged the medium grow bed and it destroyed all the seeds lol

There's actually separate save files for each area in the game. So you could move the save for an area, launch the game and go loot there, and then put the save back when you are done.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. can anyone tell me where it's found?

I do have the rope plant, greyeb, wheat and super tomatoes.

is it one of them?

EDIT: my bad, just went through allo the cells previously closed and it was in the main containment room (with the elevator)

The only containment doors I could open after visiting the control center are the chair and the the "minder." Are other doors supposed to have unlocked? Also, i'm not aware of the cube or shotgun respawning, but I've not lost mine.

Are there any new updates/ways you guys found to get more space lettuce? I did the same rookie mistake and lost the only seed I had :(
