if that's the case I gotta wonder.
I legit thought my screens were bugging in the beginning on the playtests. but thanks for the info to all who answered.
plus not looking at a lot of old photos these days of that type of stuff.
Granted, it is almost a blink and you miss it part where you can briefly walk by a radioactive spot, see the spots (maybe), along with getting a message explaining it. You click OK, and and may never think about it again.
Before, the spots were pixels, and one person posted here worried that the game was frying his expensive graphics card because of the 'graphics glitches', only to realize it was meant to be that way.
I'm not saying people will always forget or don't notice the visual effect when it is first explained. I'm saying it isn't as sure of a thing in its current state. A simple reminder later on when exposed long enough to radiation, on top of getting more info about radiation dosage the first time you get a Geiger Counter would do absolute wonders for this issue. Heck, a Gate Pal log detailing medical effects would be great! Bringing up the topic once and not elaborating later is not the best way to learn.
It is better than it has been, since there was no explanation in the Demo or Playtest, but I still think it is an easy to miss effect, on top of the radiation dosage sorely needing some explanation in game.
